Hello! My name is Ellie Casad. I am a graphic designer with a love for creating unique yet visually appealing designs, with almost ten years of schooling and experience.
I have always had an adoration for graphic design. When I was in middle school, the faculty made every student in the school take a test, in order to understand what types of jobs we would be best suited for. During that time, I had no idea what job I wanted. I thought school was a waste of time, and the only class I enjoyed was art.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t any good at art.
I loved something very unique, I had a passion for designing things that didn’t seemingly matter. I loved taking school PowerPoints and making the documents look beautiful, rather than focusing on the information inside of them. I loved putting books on shelves in ways that look interesting, rather than reading the stories.
Ever since I was a child, I have been a designer, even before I knew it. When I was presented with the job options that lined up with me, a graphic designer was far more than just a job. It was everything I loved. I began taking classes immediately, both out of school and in it. I took college classes when I was still in my early teens, because I wanted so badly to be doing it. I have been studying graphic design for almost ten years now, but have been using it every single day.
I am always looking for new ways to improve my skills and knowledge, and I am constantly learning about new design trends and techniques. I am a team player and I am always willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. I am also a creative thinker and I am always looking for new and innovative ways to solve design problems.
